The hubs and I just got back from a week-long, kid-free vacation to find October’s box had arrived while we were gone. Wahoo! I’ve been really looking forward to October’s In The Orchard theme for a while now, so I’m pretty pumped (plus a week of cruising has definitely helped to allow me to return a little bit more rejuvenated). I love, love, love fall (seriously, I feel like a different person in the fall). I love trees of all kinds, but definitely displaying the brightly colored leaves of fall. AND I have so fallen in love with being at home with my kiddos and having the privilege of teaching them that I’m just about to burst at the seams. The Lord definitely knows how to go above and beyond our expectations every time.
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.” – Ephesians 3:20-21
I could share pictures of all of this month’s materials, because they’re just so cute, but I will refrain to focus on this new element that has started this new school year through the Mother Goose Time monthly boxes. The norm is to have separate daily bags, as I’ve mentioned before, as well as to have teacher’s materials also in it’s own wrapping to keep it separated and organized. But starting this fall, they’ve also started setting apart the circle time display elements that are new each month, so you can more easily identify and decorate your board in time to start the next month’s theme. I LOVE THIS! My heart appreciates and enjoys organization so much, and this has just taken things to a new level.
AND I love the example picture of the tri-fold circle time board display to give you an idea of how you may wish to display the materials.
This is the cover for the circle time bag for October, giving you an idea of what is included as well as how you may want to display the pieces.
A little bit of a closer picture of the board display example
And October’s theme poster is just so stinking adorable. I imagine we’ll be seeking out some different types of apples to sample this month!
More October “In the Orchard” fun to come! You’ll be hearing from me soon!
